The activities of the European Union and NATO, current issues of cooperation with Russia, the situation in Belarus and key strategic challenges that the Euro-Atlantic community will face in 2011 were discussed at the informal meeting of European and North American experts on international and security policy on 14-15 January in Trakai, Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported in a press release.

According to Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis, such discussions allow a fresh insight into the problems and to look for new ways to address them.
